The top 5 uneven skin tone myths…

Darker skin tones can’t get uneven skin tone. Incorrect.
All skin tones contain melanin. Since uneven skin tone is caused by the uneven production of melanin, this condition is prevalent amongst all skin tones and types.

Its safe to lighten beyond your natural skin tone. Incorrect.
For safety reasons, we do not recommend that you attempt lighten your skin beyond its natural tone.

Wrinkles are the primary sign of skin aging. Incorrect.
Recent skin care research has shown that uneven skin tone is often the first visible sign of aging skin.

Skin protection is for the face only. Incorrect.
The face and body are both susceptible to dehydration and sun damage. Ensure that you apply a moisturizer and a broad spectrum sunblock (broad spectrum meaning that it offers protection from both UVA and UVB rays) with an SPF of 30 or higher daily to both your face and body.

Skin treatment is for women only. Incorrect.
Both men and women are equally susceptible to skin damage. Although men are less susceptible to hormonal pigmentation, their risk of post inflammatory pigmentation is often higher as a result of daily shaving.
